ABOUT MRS. WHITED

Hi, my name is Bethany Whited! I am originally from Clearfield, PA. I now live with my husband, Lucas, and our Golden Retriever, Ruger, in Sandy Ridge.
This is my fourth year teaching 3rd grade at Young Scholars. Prior to that, I substitute taught for four years in the Clearfield area. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2013 at California University of PA, followed by earning my Master's degree as a Reading Specialist in 2017, at Edinboro University of PA.
My passions other than teaching include reading, outdoor sports, and golf. I am a Pittsburgh Penguins fan and enjoy pumpkin spice lattes. Fall is my favorite season!
